The 20m pool cantilevers on the ridge boundary creating infinity views over the Barbados landscape towards the Caribbean Sea, finished with specially chosen tiles to create the required blue. Key exterior living and dining spaces enjoy an elevated position with neutral fabrics reflecting the clients interior design brief to create minimalist spaces with a calm ethos.
Our design brief for this luxury villa in Barbados was to create a modern interior with open plan living spaces flowing throughout the property. Working closely with local architect Doug Luke at Elements, the villa’s interior design and architecture were developed together to meet the client’s brief. Generous covered terraces embrace outdoor living and allow you to enjoy the natural breeze, whilst modern large scale sliding doors enable key interior spaces to be air-conditioned when required. Our selection of finishes and furniture, many pieces being bespoke, helped to achieve this unique look for our client.

Our feature bar design sits alongside the interior living space. Rippled natural stone brings movement to the clean lines of the interior with feature art adding colour and interest to the backdrop in a refined manner. The bespoke artworks, commissioned by our team; colours selected to add a subtle vibrance within the calming overall interior palette.

Our team designed this bespoke staircase working alongside a British specialist to achieve the finish in a Caribbean location. Its flowing curves elevate guests on their arrival within this double height entrance hall, creating interior grandeur with minimal curves. Bespoke joinery separates the rear living areas, but offers inviting glimpses towards the pool at the rear and out into the landscape. The sculptural pendant lights dress the interior volume as you enter the property and illuminate the hall into the evening with their calming spherical shapes.

Bedroom interiors vary to suit individual family requirements. Neutral fabrics and calming selections continue for the master and guest suits, whilst the childrens’ rooms enjoy injections of vibrant colour within fabrics and artworks, sitting alongside unique bathroom finishes such as the jellyfish captured within a bespoke resin shower wall – all of which add personality to this luxurious island home.

The air-conditioned family TV space with crash seating sits against feature joinery designed by our interior design team. Bringing together the dark joinery tones used throughout, backlit onyx niches provide opportunity to dress spaces with art and objet.
